Easy To Love

I have fallen for my share of fictional characters over the years and as crazy as it may seem, who wouldn't want to be with someone like the latest Danny Zuko, Adam Wilde, Julian Baker or even Matt Murdock? Although, now that I come to think of it, dating a vigilante will probably leave a target on your back. Kidnap the girl. Fight the guy. That tends to happen an awful lot, right? But, no matter how dreamy they seem to be, they're stuck in a world that you're not in. And they're scripted and perfected, making them so much easier to love. So what if they're not real, maybe that's why you get lost in their world; because there's no expectations or commitments so there's less chance of getting hurt. But, here's the thing, even if fictional characters fill your heart with happiness, they hurt you just as much and still won't love you back.

  2. It's so easy to fall in love with fictional characters because there is no risk. The sad part is they are stuck in a world that we will never be able to jump into. I guess it's easier to live with unreciprocated love if you know they are incapable of loving you back, compared to someone real who simply doesn't.
